BUSTED! (In a good way)

A lot of the houses we canvas have Ring doorbell camera systems or something similar. Well, the other day I was caught! Through their camera, a lovely couple observed me smelling the flowers on their beautiful gardenia bush on the way to their door. After we talked about the upcoming election, they gave me three flowers to take home!

Fortunately, I had an extra bottle of water with me, allowing me to keep these beautiful, fragrant flowers in my car while I continued to canvass. Now, I can enjoy them for a few more days!
